She conducted our first meeting in a considerate and supportive manner, whereupon she saved us in the region of £150pcm by reviewing and organising our insurance and mortgage/lifestyle protection premiums.

We take comfort in knowing that should anything forseeable occur, we are fully protected and this is no longer costing us a fortune.

Now more than ever we need to ensure that we have protection in the event of some unforeseen misfortune, this is particularly important if we have family with financial commitments such as a mortgage, are a business owner, partner or director.

Life Assurance

What if the worst should happen? No one likes to think of their own mortality, yet we all know it will happen sometime. How will your family cope if this happens during a working life or sooner than expected? How will you manage if you are the survivor? If you have family, you need to ensure their future security. You need to have the right policies in place and ensure that you're not paying for cover you don't need. Our specialist advice is there to give you peace of mind.

Income Protection

If you are an employee and you fall ill, an employer must pay statutory sick pay for up to 28 weeks, though this will probably be a lot less than your full earnings. After that, you will probably have to rely on state benefits. State benefits are quite low, so you would see a considerable drop in your income if you were out of work for more than a few months. By having an income protection in place this will put you back to the position you were in before your incapacity to work, but does not allow you to make a profit out of the situation. Similarly for owners of businesses, partners, or directors, you need to ensure that you have protection in the event of misfortune. Key man insurance is becoming a popular method of offsetting the risks involved in employing high quality staff. As businesses look to reducing their overheads, they become more dependent on particular staff members being available. We are able to offer you good advice on all types of business insurance to minimise any loss to your trading position.

Critical Illness Cover

Most home buyers sensibly purchase life assurance when they arrange a mortgage, but only a minority obtain another form of financial protection that they are five times more likely to need before they reach retirement.

Critical illness cover pays out on the diagnosis of one of up to 40 conditions listed on the policy, depending upon which insurance company, including cancer, heart attacks stroke etc. Claims statistics suggest you are five times more likely to suffer from one of these than you are to die before you reach 65. Critical illness cover can provide cash to allow people to pursue a less stressful lifestyle while they recover from illness, like repaying the mortgage or for any other purpose.
